AR Studio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at ar-studio.io.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Data: Your name, email address, and payment details when you create an account and subscribe to a plan.
• Project Data: 3D model files (.glb, .usdz), compiled image targets (.mind), preview images, and project names you upload to the platform.
• Viewer Analytics: When users view your AR experiences, we collect anonymous data including device type, browser, operating system, screen resolution, language, referrer source, approximate location (country/city via IP geolocation), session duration, AR activation events, and hourly timestamps.
• Profile Data: Your subscription plan, plan-based avatar assignment, project usage, and view consumption statistics displayed on your Profile page.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain our services, process subscription payments, deliver your AR experiences through our CDN, populate your analytics dashboard and Profile page, enable PDF export of analytics reports, send transactional emails, and improve our platform.

3. Analytics Data

When someone views an AR experience created on our platform — whether Surface AR or Image Tracking AR — we collect anonymous analytics data. This includes device type, OS, browser, screen size, language, referrer, approximate location, session duration, AR activation, and peak hour timestamps. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore and is only accessible to the project owner through the Analytics tab on their Profile page. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking tools.

4. AR Viewer Features

Our Image Tracking AR viewer includes a capture button that allows end-users to take screenshots (JPEG) and record videos (MP4) of the AR experience. These files are saved locally to the user's device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

5. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full credit card or bank details on our servers. Razorpay handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS compliance standards. Subscription management, including cancellation, is available directly from your Profile page.

6. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore for project data and analytics, Firebase Storage for 3D assets) and delivered through Bunny.net CDN for fast global access. All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate our services (payment processing via Razorpay, cloud hosting via Firebase, CDN delivery via Bunny.net) or as required by law.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data at any time. You can manage your projects and profile through the Dashboard and Profile pages, cancel your subscription directly from your Profile, or contact us at support@ar-studio.io for complete data deletion requests.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

We use Firebase authentication tokens stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any cross-site tracking mechanisms.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform.

Terms & Conditions

By accessing and using AR Studio (ar-studio.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

AR Studio offers paid subscription plans billed monthly through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time directly from your Profile page, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days of a cancelled period.

3. Plan Features & Restrictions

Each plan includes specific features and limits:

• Lite: Surface AR only, 1 project, 100 views/month, 50 MB storage, Custom Color QR.
• Creator: All AR types (Surface + Image Tracking), 20 projects, 10,000 views/month, 500 MB storage, Custom Color QR, hide branding, analytics dashboard.
• Pro Studio: All AR types + early access to new types, 100 projects, 50,000 views/month, 10 GB storage, Custom Color QR, hide branding, full analytics suite.

Image Tracking AR is not available on the Lite plan. The "Hide Branding" feature is not available on the Lite plan. If you exceed your plan's view or project limits, some features may be restricted until you upgrade or the next billing cycle begins.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all 3D models, target images, preview images, and other assets you upload to AR Studio. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, serve, cache (via CDN), and display your content through our platform for the purpose of delivering AR experiences to your end users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes on intellectual property rights. You must not use the platform to distribute malware, conduct phishing, or create deceptive AR experiences. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities without notice.

6. End-User Generated Content

The Image Tracking AR viewer allows end-users to capture screenshots and record videos of AR experiences. You acknowledge that end-users may share these captures publicly. AR Studio is not responsible for how end-users distribute or use captures of your AR content.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance that could temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions, CDN outages, or third-party service failures.

8. Analytics & Data Export

Analytics data collected from your AR experiences is accessible through your Profile page. You may export analytics reports as PDF files. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. We do not guarantee the accuracy of IP-based geolocation data.

9. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the service, please contact us within 7 days for a case-by-case review. Refund requests can be submitted through our contact page under the "Plan & Billing" category.

10. Limitation of Liability

AR Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your uploaded content may be deleted after a 30-day grace period. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support at support@ar-studio.io. Self-service cancellation of billing is available from the Profile page.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Delhi, India.
